First Steps
The giant red-skinned Sith strode purposefully into the cantina. Making his way through the lower level of the building, he went slowly to the back room, nodding to the nervous manager, who stood to bow, on his way through. Pressing his fingertips firmly against the pad on the wall, he waited for the scanner to read his prints. It beeped an acknowledgment, and a section of the wall slid sideways to reveal a secret elevator. Stepping inside, he pressed a button and found himself shooting upward a few levels. Reaching the top of the building, he stepped out, carefully, into a penthouse office with a beautiful view of the cityscape of Axxila.
Hovercars formed steady streams of traffic outside, both on the ground and through the air, a mimicry of Coruscant’s traffic. The brilliant purple sky of Axxila was punctuated by the secondary layer of cityscape, hanging downward from the strange and, to outsiders, often disorienting, secondary surface of the planet. The Sith took a moment to appreciate the view before turning to survey the office space.
